Fall Transition

With the arrival of September, it really starts to feel like fall is coming. All the retailers roll out their fall clothing and I cannot help but lust after all the sweaters, boots, and flannels. Cooler weather clothing have always been my favorites and they are definitely the most comfortable pieces to wear. Labor Day marks the end of summer but we always have a few weeks or more of summery weather, which really messes with my itch to wear layers. No matter how hot September decides to be, I start pulling my fall clothing and always try to wear them in practical ways that won’t leave me a sweaty mess at the end of the day. Thankfully, it’s quite easy to mix in autumnal pieces into your summer wardrobe, you just have to choose one item and combine with warmer weather things (think a thin sweater with shorts and sandals or destroyed skinnies with a tank and sneakers).
