Au Revoir, 2015 // New Year’s Eve

newyear2015

Can you believe that another year has gone by? January 2015 seems like it was yesterday, yet in the same way it seems it was ages ago. This time last year I was working as a part time teller at a bank and had no plans of buying a house. Now, I am finally in a marketing position, planning on purchasing a home within the next 6 months, and looking forward to two weddings. 2016 will be one for the books.

2015 had some great times. I started building a bar, which has been something both Chris and I have enjoyed. I turned a quarter of a century. Chris & I headed to Sarasota, Florida to celebrate one year of marriage. We had a more beautiful than usual autumn, which I am oh so thankful for.

We gave container gardening a go and learned that the raised bed in our backyard doesn’t grow anything.

I will look back on 2015 fondly as a year of figuring things out. There weren’t super high highs or low lows but that doesn’t mean it wasn’t a great year. I think I grew up a lot in 2015 and hope to grow even more with the arrival of 2016.
