Hi, hello. It’s been a while. Stay-at-home life has been so much fun but also very busy. My day revolves around sleep times, meals, naps, and now walks. As is the case with practically the whole world, things have changed a lot since Covid-19 took hold and though I was already home full time, not being able to do daily outings has been challenging. The anxiety has slowly been creeping in but I have been taking this the opportunity to dive into crafts more with Isla.
I hope if you are reading this and you are home with kids, you can get some ideas of activities to do with your little and kill a little time while you’re stuck inside:
Free Coloring Pages

Some of these ideas are targeted more towards adults, but that doesn’t mean your little can’t participate too:
Suzy Ultman – selection of printables and coloring pages
Rebecca Lynn Illustration – single page
Society 6 – selection of coloring pages
Rylee & Cru – coloring book
Cuddle & Kind – selection of coloring pages
The Together Gallery – selection of coloring pages
Activities
Kiwi Co – not only do they have really cool monthly boxes for kids of all ages, but they also have some other resources for parents who are home with kids (linked)
Almost Makes Perfect – one of my favorite bloggers. She has been doing lots of crafts and baking with her little, which has been great inspiration for me even with a much smaller 18 month old. I recommend following her on Instagram for ideas.
Fox in the Snow – Sadly, they are currently closed but I just saw on Instagram that they are planning to do a bake-with-us event on a regular basis. Could be fun to do with your littles. Starts tomorrow morning (Friday, 4/3).
Easter Ideas
Cub Shrub – You can submit your budget and age(s) and receive a ready-made Easter basket. I love Cub Shrub so much and they are always my go-to when it comes to cute clothing and toys.
Local Meals
Jorgensen Farms – I was so pleased to see that our wedding venue is doing deliveries of local produce and ready-made meals.
The Kitchen – another local company that is offering meal kits that consist of local produce.
Fusian – I hear they are offering family meals and also delivering some fresh produce via Instacart.
I plan to update this list as I come across other ideas/resources/etc.
I hope everyone is staying safe. I know things are worse for some but I hope that everyone is able to find some happiness every day. Stay healthy! Wash your hands!
